The fifth, themed, edition of Raudio takes you to the Dutch isle of Ameland ... you hear the sounds of the island, sounds the Raudio team made on the island, and sounds they made in the 'ZandOog' studio. Moreover, there's an avalanche (a sandstorm) of many - many many - short extracts from the live audio webstreams that together made up the 8 hour ZandOog Placard prologue, dated sunday may 29th, 2005 ... Raudio #04 -- "Het GespRek 1982-2005" [apr./may 2005]
The fourth, themed, edition of Raudio is based on a cut-up of a 20 minute recording of a live performance, made on november 24th 1982 in the Kleine Zaal in Paradiso, Amsterdam; a 'guided improvisation', involving twelve musicians - Menno Spiro (clarinet), Barbara de Klein (saxophone), Joos Wiersinga and Harold Schellinx (bass), Tim Benjamin and Maarten Ploeg (guitar), Pjotr van Moock and Simone Simons (drums), Maria Schippers (violin), Niek Stafleu (cello), Dennis Duchhart (organ) and Ronald Heiloo (keyboard) - set up along the four sides of the venue, having 'musical conversations' ...
